White Water Rafting in River Valley

We went White Water rafting in a small town called River Valley. AND boy was it small! River Valley is a town located in the middle of nowhere next to the river. We stayed in the only hostel in town where they had one large room with 26 beds (it looked like a prison!). I opted to pay a few bucks more and and shared a 4 bed room with some girls I was travelling with. My most significant memory of this place was just how unbelievably freezing cold it was! It was about 10 degrees below zero or something. Even with 4 pairs of pants, I was still cold. The next morning, we woke up bright and early at 7am and went whitewater rafting in the freezing icy cold water. Although I almost froze to death, it was an awesome ride and well worth it. I loved every minute of it! We rafted on Grade 5 rapids and the guides we had were excellent. This was my first time rafting and I can't wait to do it again!
