Waiheke Island

Waiheke Island is located outside of Auckland. You can walk to the harbor in Auckland and take a ferry to Waiheke. This is one of many places that locals go to get away for a weekend or commute to the city. The island is very nice with beautiful beaches and greenery. You can rent a car or bike to go around the island.
