Taupo

I went to Taupo at least 3 times during my stay in New Zealand. Taupo is a great place with very friendly people. The main highlight is Lake Taupo. The first time I was there, I partied at the "Holy Cow" and went bowling with my fellow travellers. It was such a blast. I can still see my friend Max table dancing even now! : ) and then we moved to the stage. Fun times! I also visited some of the local waterfalls, shopping, and even sat in some hot springs which was amazing as it was soo incredibly cold. The only thing we didn't do when we were there was go sailing, which I still have yet to do. Since the weather prevented it, it'll just give me a reason to go back someday. : )
