Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot is one of Bali's most famous temples. The temple was built in the 16th Century on a huge rock 100 yards off Bali's West coast. The caves underneath are believed to be inhabited by black and white snakes protecting the holy site from evil. It is a beautiful sight, and thousands of tourists and locals come every day to watch the sunset.
