Queenstown

Queenstown

Queenstown is one of my favorite places in New Zealand. I was there 3 times during my visit in NZ, and each time I loved it. Queenstown is located on the edge of Lake Wakatipu. It was the site of the largest Gold Rush in the country. Today it is the adventure capital of the world. There is an amazing amount to do in Queenstown, in summer or winter. From skiing or snowboarding one of the incredible mountains: the Remarkables, Coronet, or Cordona; Bungee Jumping (There are over 4 different jumps), Skydiving, taking one of the Shotboat rides, horseback riding, and more. You will never run out of things to do in Queenstown. Plus, the nightlife is just as busy. My favorite places were the Red Rock and the World. Just watch your pocketbook.. this is a place you can go broke in!
