Nelson Lakes

Nelson Lakes National Park is located in the top northwest corner of the South Island. It is the home to many beautiful lakes, rivers, and mountainous terrain. We stopped in Nelson after a Ferry ride from the North Island to the South Island. It was extremely cold and rainy when we were there, but were able to take a small hike and have lunch on the shores of Nelson lake. It was very serene and quiet here, so clean and pretty with wildlife everywhere. I would love to come back here again soon. I wish I had more time to explore and take more pictures. Below are just a few I took.
