Melbourne was our first destination in Australia. We had just finished travelling non-stop throughout New Zealand (4 flights in 1 week), and were getting pretty burnt out. We decided to take a day trip bus tour of the famous "Great Ocean road". Bad idea. Picture sitting with 40 other tourists on a stuffy double decker bus all day, with only 3 stops. Ken got a bad case of food poisoning to top it off. However, the road itself was absolutely beautiful and below are some highlights of the places where we were able to stop and see. On the bright side however, It was a learning experience, and not all travel experiences are meant to be good. However, I would definitely recommend driving this road yourself and not going with a tour. There are too many things to see.
